We visited a famous bookstore called Shakespeare and company, where I bought an adorable hard copy of Peter Rabbit and Anne of Green Gables.

Our guide Iris asked if we liked chocolate.  Of course we like chocolate so began our chocolate tour. We stopped by some pretty famous patisseries in Paris. Matt and tried our first macaroons there which were okay, I am not typically a cookie fan, however, we did buy a box of 8 for 19.50 (holy cow) all for the collectible box they came in. If you like pastries like I do, these shops were like a delicious dream!!! There pastries are like works of art in France and oh so good.

Our chance to see some beautiful art in Paris, did not disappoint. Richard and Jill hired a tour guide named Iris to take us through the Louvre. She had a great base of knowledge about the art there. Here are just a sampling of a few she took us to see!

L  We are visiting in Paris , France this week and so far it has been a wonderful trip. It took us nearly ten hours to fly here. The trip was given to us by Sani Flo, a company that Standard does business  with. We are here with the owners of Standard Richard and Jill Reese and Matt Freeman and his wife Melissa. Great couples to travel with.  So far we have walked to the Arc de triomph and the Eiffel Tower. Both which were awe inspiring. We ate unlimited steak and frites (fries) and some delicious pastries ( my favorite thing here). This morning we had a delicious breakfast at our 5 star hotel which is gorgeous . Can't wait to eat there tomorrow. Just about to go on a plant tour of Sani Flo. The drive out here was beautiful. I love the ornate iron on the balconies and the beautiful window boxes filled with fllowers. The houses are older cottages in the countryside with shutters and they are beautiful. Lots of yellow flowers fill the country in open fields. Breathtaking to...

We visited the new Provo City Center Temple open house tonight with some of our sweet family.  What a beautiful temple, the work of so many hands and much sacrifice all for the Lord and building up of his kingdom here on earth!  Feeling at peace.
