Desperately Seeking Wind

My little ones wanted so badly to try out their new kites. They set out in our cold temperatures in hopes that the wind would be strong enough to launch their kites skyward.....No such luck. I will give them credit however for determination. They were outside running for well over an hour with those kites, when even a small gust blew through our neighborhood.
