Hat Looms

I'm sure many people have learned how to knit on these simple to use looms. A couple of years ago we had a church activity where we learned how to make these hats for our churches humanitarian center. I must admit it is a bit of an addiction for me. I love using these because they are so easy. I can wrap and even my little children can pull the yarn over each peg with the knitting hook, so it's a fun project you can actually work on together. I love keeping my hands busy (it's a great stress reliever). And their are so many unbelievably cute yarns to choose from out there, that each hat can be unique. Mimi helped work on this one and the addition of the little felt flower made it especially sweet. (Side Note: This is the first picture I was able to take of Mimi since Christmas break when she lost her two front teeth, what a cutie).

So darling! (both the hats and your daughter) One of my resolutions is to go to lunch with one of my friends each month that I haven't seen for awhile. I'd love to meet you somewhere in Sandy or Draper if you have a day that works... let me know! We need to catch up.

I'd love to anytime. Lets put it on the calendar and go, I'll give you a call. We can laugh about old times.

I'm free Jan. 26, 28 or 29 for lunch. Do any of those days work for you? And I'm happy to drive down south--just name the place...
